Travel west from Calgary on Highway #1 approximately 75 km from the city limits.  Take the Rock Mountain YMCA exit (The exit is clearly marked with a green highway sign overhead).   It is the turnoff after the Kananaskis turnoff.  The road takes you over the highway">

Camp Chief Hector Map    Driving Directions Travel west from Calgary on Highway #1 approximately 75 km from the city limits.  Take the Rock Mountain YMCA exit (The exit is clearly marked with a green highway sign overhead).   It is the turnoff after the Kananaskis turnoff.  The road takes you over the highway, then turn right at the stop sign.  Follow the road until you reach the first parking lot and Bowfort Lodge.  Continue on down the camp road until you reach the end.
