Take Hwy 99 to Fresno and turn onto Hwy 180 East for 3.5 miles (Folks approaching from the south can take Hwy 41 North from the 99 to the 180 as an option). Turn onto Hwy 168 (Note: Hwy 168 changes names more than 6 times. IGNORE THE NAME! Focus on the white highway markers that indicate you are on 168. You do not leave 168 – including any turns - until you arrive at the Big Creek turnoff at Shaver Lake). Travel approximately 50 miles on Hwy 168 to the north end of Shaver Lake to the Big Creek turnoff (When you see the dam and go through a few hairpin turns YOU ARE ABOUT 1 MILE FROM THE BIG CREEK SIGN). Turn left at the Big Creek sign (Big Creek Rd.) and travel approximately 3.8 miles to the Camp Sierra Rd. turnoff. Take the camp road to the left and travel 0.7 miles to the camp.
