DONATIONS

We are open, willing and committed to the experience of the Young Adult program of Religious Science grow and evolve. In this vein, we ask that you consider making a donation to our Scholarship Fund - This can be done in a single action or on a tithe basis. The current state of the evolution of this program is wonderful and we are committed to "spread the word" about this unique and exciting division of Religious Science. We not only see ourselves growing numerically, but also in our financial picture. The more Young Adults who attend and participate in this seminar, the more successful we are and the more we can make a difference in the lives of young adults. Please know that any and all money donated to this fund is solely used to assist young adults who attend our seminar.  
 
We welcome any and all Young Adults who participate in a New Thought teaching - not necessarily a Religious Science church.

SCHOLARSHIPS A half scholarship is available for young adults seeking financial assistance to attend the Retreat. You may apply for a scholarship every other year. If you are awarded a scholarship please be prepared to offer your services at the Retreat in the form of a mealtime meditation, sunrise service lead-in, keep-camp-clean member, etc. We won’t know exactly where we will need help until the Retreat weekend, but we appreciate your willingness to help the committee in exchange for a scholarship.

There are three steps to the application process.

1. Write a prosperity treatment for yourself.
2. On a separate sheet of paper answer the following questions*:

A) How much financial support would you like towards your Young Adult experience?
 

B) What are your current spiritual practices, if any? Are you getting what you need out of your practices or are you looking for a new path?
 

C) Are you or have you ever been involved with a Religious Science or New Thought Church? If so, how were you involved?
 

D) What is it you are looking to accomplish by attending the Young Adult Seminar?
 

E) What can you do right now to deepen your spirituality?
 

F) Have you attended Young Adult Seminar in the past? Please write a paragraph about your experience.
*If a question does not apply to you, please state “not applicable.”
 

3. Mail your treatment, questionnaire, Retreat registration form, and $100 (half of the registration fee) to the YA Committee Advisor:

Your information will be kept confidential and only the Executive Committee will know of your application.
 

Please Note: Scholarship information must be in by August 1st and decisions will be made by August 5th. Total registration fee for scholarship applicants will be $200.
